They say you can never trust a Lawyer, a Dentist, or a Mechanic but R M Automotive proves the last one wrong! I found the phone number to their shop on Yelp and I am very happy to now have a mechanic I can go to and be at ease with. I bought a used Toyota Prius last month and I wanted to make sure everything is okay with it and do what needs to be done right away. I already spent all of my savings so I was worried I would have to spend more on repairs. Going to the dealers was back breaking! I called RM Automotive and made sure they knew how to work on Hybrid cars, especially an older model one. I talked to Rich on the phone and he was very attentive and explained that he would give my car a full inspection when I bring it for an oil change. He gave me an appointment for a time that was convenient for me and was very thorough in explaining everything in person when I dropped the car off. I ended up needing some other services and he called me and made sure I was okay with everything. I am working on getting the services the car needs one and a time. He helped me prioritize and has made the process pretty easy. They are not the cheapest mechanics in the area as I called around and got some better rates but I was so comfortable with Rich that I decided to bring my car back and will continue to bring my car here. PRO:I had some major work done on the car and they did an excellent job on it. I am very happy with they work they did. :)At first, I thought I need a new re-built engine but they was able to save my engine and fix it up. :)CON:The only complaint is, there's actually another thing wrong with the car but they couldn't find it until much later when I had another major problem with the car.But it might have been my fault. I should have them check on it again after driving it few thousands miles more. Also, unless your car break down, they only take appointments. So you can't just go there for a oil change and have them do it on that day. You have to make an appointment and come back another time to do it. OVERALL:I recommend this place if you have Honda, Acura, Toyota, or Lexus.
